Judge Sri Srinivasan Becomes First Indian-American To Lead Powerful Federal Circuit Court

After graduating from law school, he worked as a law clerk for Harvey Wilkinson, a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. After that, he obtained a position as a clerk at the Supreme Court of the United States, working for Justice Sandra Day.

After completing his clerkship, he worked for the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers. Then in 2002, he joined the Office of the Solicitor General of the United States, where he served until 2007. The firm and is headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia.
